Scenes from an old song. We all get old songs that pop into our heads that we cannot shake off for days.
Dionne Warwick's "Walk on by" has stuck in my head now for days so decided to turn it into this weeks image. For those of you (you know who you are) who thinks this is blurry. It is achieved by getting your model (Elena) to sit perfectly still, put the camera on a tripod and then shoot the image at 1/8 of a second which then makes anything in the frame that is moving come out blurred.
If you see me walking down the street
And I start to cry each time we meet
Walk on by, walk on by,
just kake believe,
That you don't see the tears
Just let me grieve
In private 'cause each time I see you
I break down and cry
And walk on by
And walk on by
And walk on by
I just can't get over losing you
And so if I seem broken and blue
Walk on by, walk on by
Foolish pride
Is all that I have left
So let me hide
The tears and the sadness you gave me
When you said goodbye
Walk on by
Walk on by
Walk on by
Walk on
Walk on by
Walk on by.
Now you really gotta go so walk on by
If you leave you'll never see the tears I cry
Now you really gotta go so walk on by. — with Elena Davies.
