South Georgia.

After three days of being thrown about on savage South Atlantic sea's the small British warship I was aboard entered the calm waters of an inlet in South Georgia, heading for King Edwards bay. There was drizzle in the sky and early morning mist rising from the sea as we were allowed on deck for the first time since leaving Port Stanley in the Falkland Islands. This was my first sight of South Georgia with it's towering mountains and the lone Albatros to guide us in.
